Jean Chao’s focus at Tarantino is on asset acquisitions, asset management, and special projects. Jean holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Prior to joining Tarantino, Jean was a Senior Vice President of Operations at a real estate private equity firm based out of Dallas. During this time, she worked on asset management, finance and accounting, investor relations, and special projects. Jean was a Managing Director with a big-4 accounting firm in the international tax group prior to her transition into commercial real estate. She worked with a variety of multinational clients in the real estate and alternative investment industries. In her personal time, Jean enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, staying active, and traveling.
